Illustrator Art

Around 6 years ago I started using Adobe Illustrator. I started creating First Nation inspired outdoor landscape pieces and created 2 that I was very proud of. I had not created any others for some time, but began working on a flying eagle in my Digital Media class this year. I finally took some time to finish it and I am very pleased with how it turned out.

There were a number of frustrations while working on this piece. I created the star trails using a 3/4 arc and copy and pasted them and changed their angle and size. I tried to figure out an easier way to do this, but was unable to . I also had a hard time exporting just the artboard, but this was actually easier than I was making it out to be. The scene is loosely based on a view I liked as a child, looking out of a window in my Grandparents house on Salt Spring Island. Enjoy.
